International UN Day for the Elimination of VIOLENCE against Women(25 November 2011)
A large number of women , are very much suffering today , in many ways and in a lot of countries and are receiving violence from different sources in their lives,some of this violence is deadly and kills the women too!
The horrifying facts are:
- WHO multi-country study found that between 15–71% of women reported experiencing physical and/or sexual violence by an intimate partner at some point in their lives.
-Over seven million women are beaten up by their husbands/partners in the UK(1/4 women),many because of alcohol .
There is one domestic violence call every minute!two are killed every week in domestic violence!,only 3% are convicted,a woman is beaten 35 times before reporting it!!.
In the US: 4 women die each day as a result of domestic violence/ and one woman is beaten up every 15 seconds .In Russia: 4 million are battered each year! leading to the death of 14000 women!!!
-One woman is raped(sexual violence) every 90 seconds in the US,14 000 women recorded rapes in the UK/2003
25 000 women raped in France! In the UK: 55 000 women call the rape crisis centres/year.
20% of women and 5–10% of men report being victims of sexual violence as children.
-About 300 innocent unborn girls are killed every day in Britain through abortion through a violent death..and millions girls are killed in China and in India through the female foeticide(aborting girls only).
THE DIVINE PRESCRIPTION OF ISLAM TO BOTH MEN AND WOMEN ,IS VERY MUCH NEEDED TODAY ,IN ORDER TO SAVE MILLIONS OF GIRLS AND WOMEN FROM ALL TYPES OF VIOLENCE AND FROM BEEN KILLED , IN ALL OVER THE WORLD!
